Projex has made eight new appointments.
Craig Baldwin has been appointed Associate Director and Head of a new Building Consultancy division based in Solihull.
A former senior surveyor at global consultancies Cushman and Wakefield and CBRE, Baldwin will be responsible for developing building consultancy services in the Midlands and linking into existing teams in London and Leeds to provide improved national coverage.
He comments: “This is an exciting opportunity to grow with one of the region’s most progressive consultancies and develop additional and complementary services nationwide.”
Ian Morgan, formerly a senior project manager at Faithful & Gould, has joined Projex to help lead the Project Management Team. Ian is a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with extensive experience across multi sectors such as retail, manufacturing, education and residential. He will also provide in-house monitoring for colleagues seeking the RICS PMS qualification.
The Cost Consultancy Division has also been boosted with the appointment of Stewart James as Associate Director. He joins from Firmingers LLP where he was an associate responsible for key clients H&M and Superdry. With over 10 years’ experience in the commercial retail fit out sectors, Stewart has recently led a team to manage the full procurement process for H&M in appointing their contractor base within UK and Ireland.
Steve Durant, a former divisional board director for Barratt London and St James Group, brings over 20 years’ experience in the residential sector including high rise mixed use development expertise. Steve has also led staff engagement initiatives to improve customer service. He joins as Head of Residential.
Sukh Lall is joining the Project Management Team in London as Associate Director. He was formerly an associate at Rider Levett Bucknall and brings nine years’ experience of working on major national and regional developments, including a two year project to regenerate and deliver the main transport hubs accessing the rowing events at Dorney Lakes during the London 2012 Olympics.
In addition, Joanne Arnold is appointed Accounts Manager and James Cahill and Ryan Porter join as Solihull-based graduate surveyors.
