It has been another busy six months for the company in a year which has seen our appointment on a number of major new UK retail and mixed use schemes, the opening of a new London office and the relocation, due to continued expansion, of our existing offices in Yorkshire and the Midlands.
A raft of significant new senior appointments bring, we hope, the sort of talented and multi-faceted expertise clients have come to expect from the Projex team and will enable us to continue to successfully deliver on client projects.
Our new London office on Wigmore Street is headed by David Willson who brings important strategic and development management expertise to the project management role. He has a detailed understanding of the key commercial drivers in the development process.
David said: “It is an exciting time to join Projex, which is seen as an entrepreneurial and ambitious consultancy. I share the same vision and qualities as the Projex team and I am extremely impressed by the growth and success it has enjoyed so far and look forward to expanding that growth and success in London. I believe that we are in a unique position to provide the combination of strategic advice and practical experience of major project delivery through our dedicated regional teams.”
He is joined in London by associate director, Iain Mason, an experienced project manager, chartered quantity surveyor with further appointments due to be announced in the near future.
Joint managing director, Phil Tomalin, said: “This is a very significant investment for us and a natural extension for our business, enabling us to provide a closer and more effective service to our many London-based clients. It builds on our considerable expertise in the retail and mixed use sector where we have successfully delivered over £100m worth of schemes in the last five years and are now instructed on over £500m schemes over the next 2 year period.”
