Demand for services has seen Projex appoint a new head of its London and southern building consultancy service.
Tom Setchell has been appointed associate director and joins colleagues Craig Baldwin and Paul Brewer, head of building consultancy in the Solihull and Leeds offices respectively.
He joins from CBRE, prior to which he managed a number of key national clients during two years at BNP Paribas. He also spent ten years with Deloitte Real Estate, including heading up the public sector building surveying division.
With the ability to provide a national service with quick turnaround, the team has already been working on various office, retail and industrial acquisitions and has been praised for its informative executive summaries in aiding a client’s commercial decisions.
Director Paul Brewer explains:
“From our initial inception, we have quickly developed a reputation for complex project delivery and the ability to provide follow up services to our main project work whilst retaining a key knowledge base is invaluable for our owner/occupier and prop co clients.
“We now have 17 building surveyors across the business to advise on a range of consultancy issues and are seeing increasing demand from our client base to improve their existing assets/portfolio and this is now a key service in its own right within our overall business.”
“The team is experienced in all aspects of building surveying, particularly portfolio and estate strategy planning, contract admin, dilapidations strategy, listed building refurbishments and planned preventative maintenance advice and implementation.”
