Cathedral Plaza, Worcester was constructed in the mid 1960s and consists of approximately 20,345 m² (219,000 ft²) of accommodation; including retail units, a Travel Lodge hotel providing 96 bedrooms, residential units above shop level on the College Street elevations and a multi-storey car park for 335 cars, currently operated by NCP. The prime retail units are located along High Street with smaller units situated in the malls and along College Street. In 2002 a large-scale reconfiguration and refurbishment works to the central part of the Plaza were undertaken in order to accommodate the larger retail units.
