Details

The 11 storey new build scheme consists of 334 no 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with bathroom and/or en-suite. The scheme is situated in a prime city centre location on the former Silver Blades Ice Rink. It is the first development of the landmark £1bn Smithfields Birmingham regeneration scheme converting the existing wholesale site into 26 acres of mixed use development comprising retail, leisure, commercial, residential and civic space.

The site posed some complex ground works to alter and expand the current basement space around an existing sub-station on site, which must be kept live and unimpeded always during the construction process. The scheme has been forward funded by Rockspring who are investing in the first new build PRS residential development in Birmingham. The project is due for completion 4th Quarter 2018.
