A new Regional Distribution Centre for B&M is to be constructed comprising of a large warehouse, office spaces and ancillary areas, with a floor area of approximately 1,000,000 m2 and a height of 21.5m.
The warehouse space is separated into several areas for freezers, chilled/refrigerated and ambient goods, which contains normal racking and mobile racking (racking to be installed by the fit-out contractor). The mezzanine level at the front of the building will contain typical office spaces.
Surrounding the main building are the ancillary support services for the Regional Distribution Centre includes a refuelling area, vehicle workshops, vehicle washing facilities, parking for wagons together with staff and visitor parking and a cycle shelter.
