Details
Construction of a new 4 bed house with 4 en-suites.
Projex have been involved since the project gained planning permission. The initial role involved developing the architect’s planning drawings into working drawings, coordinating the engineer and other consultants, and working towards gaining the remaining statutory approvals.
The property is to be constructed on the land of an existing building with limited access and the need for the front elevation to be retained due to the steep slope of the site. Designed as an eco-house, it will be constructed of highly insulated ICF, benefiting from air source heat pumps and Photovoltaic panels on the roof.
The dwelling is proposed to be a detached property inverted over two storeys with the first floor to be a large open plan kitchen, diner and living room with additional living areas. It will have an external terrace which opens out from the kitchen/diner overlooking the garden. Externally, the property is to be clad in a mixture of stone and timber cladding with large aluminium windows and glass doors providing natural light to the property.
Construction commenced in summer 2020 and is expected to complete in April 2021.
