New HQ for Manufacturing Processes Innovator

Projex has handed over a new purpose-built head office to world-class engineering and process automation company 3P, which helps clients to develop, launch and commercialise new products faster and at lower cost.

Projex was initially employed in a client advisory role to complete the base build and shell but was then asked to provide project monitoring/employer’s agent services for the specialist fitout at the new 30,000 sq ft premises at Tournament Fields, Warwick.

The new facility will house 3P’s broad skill base of professional engineers across all disciplines and provide increased capacity for multiple repeat machine builds, full commercial production lines as well as early development lab and pilot plant projects.

Since its formation in 2006, 3P has experienced significant and consistent growth, helping a diverse and international customer base to innovate, develop and industrialise new products and devices faster and more cost effectively through design and manufacture of customised manufacturing solutions and machines.

3P’s managing director, Tom Bailey, says: “It’s an incredibly exciting time for 3P as we continue to grow.  Our investment in our skill base of professional engineers and our new facility in the heart of England will allow increased capacity and production as we continue to grow our customer base.”

Ian Morgan, associate director from Projex, says, “It is always good to be asked to expand upon the initial brief into our wider project skillset and get more involved with exciting projects such as this, which is at the cutting edge of manufacturing innovation around the world.”
