Projex Building Solutions has carried out the pre-acquisition survey and due diligence on a prominent £41m build-to-rent development in Leeds on behalf of Aberdeen Standard Investments.
Clients of Aberdeen Standard have acquired Clarendon Quarter, a 324-unit residential scheme providing key worker accommodation to the west of Leeds city centre.
Comprising two buildings, The Court and The Gardens, The Court provides 261 studio style apartments and a number of two-bed apartments over 6 storys including several residential ‘Club Lounges’, extensive communal social space at basement level including a gym and laundry room.
The Gardens will provide 62 apartments with a mixture 1, 2 and 3 beds over 5 storeys; both buildings are set within a shared landscaped site, with secure parking facilities provided.
Ed Crockett, head of UK residential investment at Aberdeen Standard Investments, said in Insider Media’s article: “We’re delighted to complete the purchase of this well designed and well managed scheme in a dynamic and growing market. As the first purpose-built rental scheme in Leeds it has a strong emphasis on operational design and displays all of the investment characteristics we target – affordability, accessibility and amenity.”
